Alma Rivera is a 6-year-old girl from Puerto Rican descent, who lives in the Bronx, NY, with her parents, grandfather and little brother Junior. She has many friends in her Latino neighbourhood, where they listen to or play music together or cheer for their favourite sports teams. Every day, Alma and the people she knows come across many small or bigger problems. Luckily, Alma loves solving problems. She always listens carefully to what exactly happens and thinks hard to help find a solution by demonstrating great decision making and social awareness skills. This is “Alma’s Way”, her ability of thinking things through and helping others.
