Welcome to Ballybraddan National School in the fictional town of Ballybraddan. The series follows the pupils of the fifth class who experience all sorts of challenges and face difficulties during their time at school. There is one activity that allows everyone to unwind and face the challenges of life, hurling, an Irish sport and pastime.
Who are the main characters of Ballybraddan?
Dylan: One of the fifth class pupils. The best hurler of the hurling team of Ballybraddan National School. He's known as "The Special One".
Beacon: He is the most competitive member of the hurling team. He easily gets irritated. He's also in firth class.
Aisling: She's a proud supporter of the hurling team.
Sam: One of the star players of the hurling team, and originally from Australia.
Soc: His real name is Seamus and he is the team's goalkeeper. He has a twin brother, Aidan.
Aidan: He is Seamus' twin brother, but he's not interested in hurling.
Snips: He is the Ballybraddan hurling team captain.
Speedy: He's the local bully, claiming he's the best at everything. He has two sidekicks, Gerry and Seany.
Ruby Lynch: A player from the rival hurling club.
The Bantor: He is the team's coach. He's very strict, but always fair.
