The show follows the adventures of young Captain Flinn and his crew, who go on thrilling expeditions to search for treasure and encounter a group of pirate dinosaurs led by the infamous Captain T-Rex.

As the crew gets closer to the treasure, they face new challenges and obstacles, but with Flinn’s leadership and his crew’s bravery, they’re able to overcome them all and find the treasure.

Who are the main characters of Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs?
Captain Flinn: he is bold, cheeky, smart and fun. Captain Flinn is Captain of the Acorn and swashbuckling leader of the pirate gang.
Violet: she's the first mate on the ship, positioned on top of the mast. She is a valiant pirate girl, who's always ready for daring adventures.
Tom: he is the navigator of the ship. He is also an inventor of useful instruments and gadgets. His hat is a folded pirate map. He walks around carrying his Big Book of Piratey Facts.
Pearl: she is a sweet and polite girl pirate who likes everything to be clean. She likes hygiene and good manners. She believes that deep down, there is some good in the Pirate Dinosaurs.
Captain Stubble: he was the former captain of the Acorn, but now he prefers to stay below deck and prepare custard. He's really quite scared of anything remotely dangerous and prefers the safety of his kitchen.
Russell: he's Captain Stubble's toucan. He likes to sit on his hat and is a faithful animal.
Captain Gurgleguts: he's a pirate because his mother wanted him to be one, but he doesn't like it! That's why he's always trying out a new profession.
Captain T Rex: he is the leader of the "Baddest Baddies", the Pirate Dinosaurs. He is a greedy liar and cheat, and he's also quite vain and likes to dress nicely.
Dippy: she's a stupid diplodocus, who constantly gives away the Pirate Dinosaurs' plans.
Stig: he's a stupid and brawlish stegosaurus. He's very loyal to T Rex and would do anything for him.
Terry: he's a pterodactyl who dreams of becoming an actor. He's very sensitive and an even bigger coward than the others.
