The Captain Underpants series stars the two fourth-grade boys George Beard and Harold Hutchins. When George and Harold accidentally hypnotise their cruel school principal, Mr. Krupp, he becomes Captain Underpants, a hero from one of the boys’ homemade comic books. So whenever Mr Krupp hears the sound of fingers snapping, he will turn into Captain Underpants, and when he is soaked with water, he returns to normal. Captain Underpants is very nice to children and possesses superpowers.

Captain Underpants: The main protagonist of the series, he is a young boy who is accidentally transformed into a super-hero.
George Beard and Harold Hutchins: Two clever pranksters, who are neighbours and best friends. They own a comic book company.
