Story
“Combo Ninos” is a French animated series that was first aired in 2008 and ran for two seasons. The show was created by Florence Sandis at SIP Animation, in collaboration with Jetix Europe and the French broadcasting network TF1. The series follows the adventures of four children who have the power to transform into animals with superhuman abilities.
The four children are Serio, Paco, Azul and Pilar, who live in Nova Nizza, a town somewhere in South America. They all have different personalities and come from different backgrounds but share a common trait – they are Combo Ninos. The Combo Niños have the ability to transform into mystical beings in anthropomorphic animal form by touching one of the totems that appear on the creatures. This form gives them unique skills that serve them in the battle against the Divinos and to perform special attacks called Big Blastico, used to return a Divino back to its own dimension.
The Combo Ninos use their powers to protect the city from the evil organization called the “Divinos.” These mystical creatures used to be a part of the world of humans, but when they started causing chaos and disaster, they were banned to another world. Most of them seek conquest of the world of humans but are trapped in their world. Unfortunately, Diadoro’s ambition has led them back to the world of humans, and although Diodorus wants them to follow his orders, they ignore him. The Divinos each display one of the Four totem symbols on their body that, when touched by the child with the corresponding animal, allows them to transform into their Animal Forms.
Throughout the series, the Combo Ninos face many challenges and battles against the Divinos. Along the way, the Combo Ninos learn valuable life lessons about friendship, teamwork, and perseverance.

Who are the main characters of Combo Niños?
Serio: a quiet but charismatic 11-year-old boy, who is a part of the Combo 4. His totem is the Tigrillo, who is fast and agile and has strong claws.
Paco: he is a tough and competitive 11-year-old, the second member of the Combo 4. His totem is the Bull. When he transforms into the Toro, he has superhuman strength and can create sound waves.
Azul: she is a quiet and serious 11-year-old girl and is also a member of the Combo 4. She owns a device that can detect and locate the Divinos, who she plans to stop and catch. Her totem is an Eagle. She can fly, cause powerful wind gusts, control the birds and produce high pitched sonic sounds.
Pilar: she is the fourth member of the Combo 4. She's eccentric and cheerful, and likes to eat insects and strange foods. She can transform into an Iguana, and becomes elastic in many parts of her body.
Master Grinto: this is the Combo 4's capoeira teacher. He used to be a Combo boy in his youth, with Monkey as his totem.
Old Head: he's also a former Combo boy and used to be Grinto's teacher. His totem is Dragon Wing.
Diadoro: he's the former mayor of Nova Nizza, who lost at the latest elections. He now tries to oust the sitting Mayor with the help of the Divinos/
Gomez: a scientist who invents gadgets to summon the Divinos. He works for Diadoro.
Miss Solidad: a quiet and lovely teacher at the Combo 4's school.
Director Bronka: the gruff and strict director of the children's school.
Mayor Ruelas: the current mayor of Nova Nizza.
