“FriendZSpace” is an action-packed animated comedy created by Dan Clark and Oscar Covar. The series premiered in 2021.
It follows the adventures of three best friends, Alice, Leo and Kim, who seem like regular human children. But behind their normal selves they are risk-taking deep space friend makers. Every day, they jet into space in their unpredictable star cruiser, “The Dart”, looking to meet new aliens on different planets all across the universe. Accompanied by BotDog (half puppy and half high-tech Swiss army knife), their mission is simple and wonderfully weird: locate planets, find alien kids, introduce themselves and make friends. Different customs and funny alien biological quirks create comic complications that must be overcome!
“FriendZSpace” is all about kids and kid culture — alien and human — it’s about embracing our differences and getting into exciting trouble in the process! Because no matter how different these alien characters seem to be (the series introduces over 50 new species!), they are just like us, they are all “friend-able”. Making friends with people who are different from ourselves involves some measure of risk. “FriendZSpace” explores just that, with a good dash of comedy and adventure, and a lot of heart.
