Future Boy Conan

Conan: the titular character, Conan is a brave and resourceful young boy with extraordinary strength and swimming ability. He grew up on a small island and is initially naive about the world beyond it. His life takes a dramatic turn when he meets Lana and embarks on an adventure to save her and fight against the Industria.
Lana: a girl from High Harbor, a settlement of survivors, Lana is the granddaughter of the settlement's leader. She is kind, empathetic, and has a mysterious connection to a powerful solar energy device. Her capture by the Industria sets the plot in motion, leading to her meeting Conan.
Jimsy: a wild and cunning boy living alone on the first island Conan and Lana visit. He quickly becomes Conan's friend and joins their journey. Jimsy is skilled in hunting and survival, providing a contrast to Conan's innate goodness with his more selfish and survival-driven nature.
Dyce: a would-be captain who initially works for Industria but changes sides after meeting Conan and his friends. Dyce provides some comic relief and serves as a flawed yet good-hearted adult figure.
Dr. Lao: the wise and elderly scientist who raised Conan on the island, Dr. Lao serves as a father figure to Conan and imparts crucial wisdom and guidance that help him throughout his journey.
Monsley: a young and competent officer of Industria, Monsley is initially an antagonist but her complex character develops through the series. She is torn between her duty to Industria and her growing doubts about its methods and goals.
Lepka: the main antagonist of the series, Lepka is a power-hungry leader within Industria who seeks to control the advanced technology left from before the war to dominate what remains of the world.
