Story
The series Gargoyles features a species of nocturnal creatures known as gargoyle, that turn into stone during the daytime. After spending a thousand years in a petrified state in a castle in medieval Scotland, the building is purchased by an American billionaire who has it reconstructed on top of his New York skyscraper. The gargoyles are reawakened in modern-day New York City. There they take on roles as the city’s secret night-time protectors. The sympathetic female police agent Elisa Maza helps the Gargoyles to adjust to their new life.

Goliath: The leader of the Manhattan Clan, he is brave and noble.
Hudson: The advisor to Goliath and the rest of the Manhattan Clan. He used to be the leader of the Wyvern Clan.
Brooklyn: A young and impulsive gargoyle with white hair. He's the Clan's second-in-command.
Lexington: A small and timid gargoyle, he is the clan's technical wizard.
Broadway: A large and outgoing gargoyle, he loves to eat. He strongly dislikes guns and loves old movies.
Bronx: The clan's pet, a dog-like gargoyle.
Angela: A young and innocent gargoyle, she is Goliath and Demona's daughter.
Fu-Dog: A creature that resembles a Chinese lion statue. He is loyal to Brooklyn.
Katana: He comes from the Japanese feudal Ishimura Clan and is named after the most famous of Japanese swords.
Egwardo: A gargoyle egg that hasn't hatched yet. Its parents are Brooklyn and Katana.
