Story

“Invincible” is an adult animated superhero series that follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, the son of Omni-Man, a powerful alien from the planet Viltrum. As Mark begins to develop superpowers inherited from his father, he takes on the superhero alias “Invincible” and starts training to become a hero.
The plot initially appears to be a typical superhero origin story, with Mark learning to use his abilities of flight, super strength, and speed. He joins a team of young heroes, including Atom Eve and Rex Splode, and begins fighting crime. However, the series takes a dark turn when it’s revealed that Omni-Man, who claims to be part of a peace-keeping society, actually murdered the Guardians of the Globe.
In a shocking twist, Omni-Man confesses his true mission: to prepare Earth for Viltrumite conquest. This leads to a brutal confrontation where Omni-Man beats Mark nearly to death, destroying entire cities in the process. Ultimately, Omni-Man cannot bring himself to kill his son and leaves Earth.
The series then follows Mark’s struggle to continue being a hero while dealing with the psychological trauma of his father’s betrayal. He forms an alliance with Allen the Alien to prepare for the potential return of the Viltrumite Empire, setting up future conflicts and challenges for the young superhero.
