Jade Armor

“Jade Armor” is a 2022 French animated series created by TeamTo. It is known as “L’armure de Jade” in the original French version.

The series follows the adventures of a young teenage girl who uses the powers of the natural elements to save her town of Ban Tang from the villainous Crimson Lord and his armor’s Shards from utter chaos. The series is based on Chinese mythology and legends.

On the eve of her birthday, Lan Jun Ye found herself drawn to a mysterious clocktower that stood tall amidst the cityscape. To her astonishment, she stood suspended between the massive hands of the clock, as four extraordinary animals materialized before her. A playful tiger cub, a majestic dragon, a graceful bird, and a wise turtle stood in unison, their eyes gleaming with otherworldly knowledge.

In a harmonious chorus, the animals revealed Lan Jun Ye’s extraordinary destiny. They spoke of her role as the new Jade, a valiant defender chosen to safeguard her hometown from impending darkness. With great reverence, they introduced themselves as her Beasticons, mythical creatures whose existence was once confined to the realm of childhood tales.
Before Lan Jun Ye could grasp the enormity of her newfound purpose, a dizzying sensation overcame her, causing her to stumble and lose consciousness. She awoke abruptly in her familiar room, dismissing the encounter as a fantastical dream woven by her vivid imagination.

However, reality had a peculiar way of intertwining with dreams. As if guided by fate’s invisible hand, the animals reappeared, proving the authenticity of their existence. Lan Jun Ye’s heart skipped a beat as the realization dawned upon her—she was destined to wear the revered Jade Armor and embark on a perilous quest to cleanse her city of the malevolent remnants that lingered from the Crimson Lord’s mystical armor, a bitter reminder of the previous Jade’s nemesis.
