The series “Jellystone!” features a whole series of Hanna-Barbera’s trademark characters, such as Yogi Bear of Peter Potamus, and is the first animated series without the input of the original founders. In “Jellystone!” all the famous characters are modernized, giving them a newer and fresher look, but also by changing their roles in the community. They are now all citizens of the town of Jellystone, where they live, work and play together. Jonny Quest is now the operator of the town’s bowling hall, Captain Caveman lives in a van with a cave-like interior decoration, and Dirty Dawg features as a caricature artist.
Who are the main characters of Jellystone?
Yogi Bear: a large brown bear who works as a doctor at Jellystone Hospital.
Boo Boo: a brown bear who also works at the Hospital as a nurse. He's Yogi Bear's best friend.
Huckleberry Hound: this dog is the mayor of Jellystone. He's very laidback and always reacts calmly to problems.
Augie Doggie: she's an 11 year old dog pup who loves exchanging kisses with her father.
Top Cat: he's the leader of the alley cats and is always trying to get money through unlawful schemes.
The King: Top Cat's rival and a petty thief.
Magilla Gorilla: a fashion freak who owns a haberdashery shop
Peter Potamus: a fan of martial arts, who spends his time with his action figures.
Captain Caveman: a laid-back caveman who lives in a van, which he decorated as a cave. He is friends with Yogi Bear and Jabberjaw.
Wally Gator: he lives down in the sewers of Jellystone.
