Story
The animated series JoJo & Gran Gran is based on the semi-autobiographical picture book by author Laura Henry-Allain. Little JoJo is a curious and joyful 4-year-old who lives in London. When JoJo’s parents are at work, her grandmother Gran Gran takes care of JoJo. Gran Gran has a wealth of knowledge that she shares with JoJo on a daily basis, about life and the world in general. Gran Gran has Saint Lucian heritage and she proudly teaches JoJo about her past and the culture of Saint Lucia through stories and cooking.
Who are the main characters of JoJo & Gran Gran?
JoJo: A young girl who is the main protagonist of the show. She is 4,5 years old and lives in London. While her parents are at work, her grandmother looks after her.
Gran Gran: JoJo's grandmother, who is always there for her. She is wise and loving and teaches JoJo about the many wonders of life and the world. She also tells her about her Saint Lucian heritage.
Great Gran Gran: JoJo's great-grandmother, who is from the island of Saint Lucia.
Mr. Jenkins: The owner of the local grocery store, who is always ready to help JoJo and her friends.
