Max & Maestro

Max is an ordinary boy who loves to play video games and compose rap songs. That is, until he hears the wonderful notes of classical music… From the moment he meets Mr. Barenboim, the greatest conductor of all times, Max dreams of becoming a classical musician himself. But Max knows that his rapper friends won’t really like this, they don’t exactly like classical stuff! Max doesn’t want to loose his friends, and so he has no other choice than to take lessons with Mr. Barenboim in secret. Slowly, Daniel Barenboim introduces him to the world of classical music, and with every new note Max plays, he gets closer to his dream of becoming the musician he aspires to be.

Daniel Barenboim is an actual classical pianist and conductor. He contributed greatly to the animated series and lends his voice to his character. For the rap music part of the series, French rapper and hip hop producer Akhenaton collaborated on the series. He also graciously lends his voice to the eponymous character in the show.
