The international hit series Maya The Bee is based on the classic children’s Book “The Adventures of Maya the Bee” by Waldemar Bonsels. Since its first launch as an anime television series in Japan in the mid 1970’s, Maya the Bee has known many adaptations and movie versions. The little honeybee Maya has captured many hearts with her good nature and funny demeanour. She is very curious and wants to know more about the world. She decides to do the unthinkable: leave the hive and venture out on her own. Luckily, she makes many friends along the way to help her stay safe.
