“Megamind Rules!” is a 2024 Peacock Original animated series that serves as a follow-up to the 2010 film “Megamind”. The show follows the misadventures of the former supervillain Megamind as he takes on the new mission of being a superhero and defending Metro City. Set after the events of the film and the 2024 movie “Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate”, the series depicts Megamind’s quest to become the world’s first superhero influencer while protecting the city from villains like the Doom Syndicate and their new leader Machiavillain, Megamind’s former mentor. While juggling his heroic duties, Megamind also faces challenges like fighting brand-new villains, going viral on the internet, and dealing with the pressures of modern life.
