Milky Way is an adventurous young girl who represents the Milky Way galaxy. While exploring space, she accidentally shatters a small planetoid that was imprisoning an evil entity known as Black Hole. The planetoid breaks into 11 pieces that get scattered across the solar system.
To stop Black Hole from destroying the universe and re-imprison him, Milky Way must find the 11 pieces of the planetoid. Along the way, she meets and teams up with other “Galaxy Girls” who are anthropomorphic representations of planets and celestial bodies like Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, etc. Each Galaxy Girl has unique talents to help Milky Way in her quest.
The series was rejected in favour of Lauren Faust’s other project “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”.
