Mini Ninjas is based on the successful 2009 action-adventure video game developed by IO Interactive. In the animated series, several heroes make their return. Hiro, Suzume, Futo, Kunochi, Shun and Tora are the next generation of ninjas. These 12-year-olds all have one goal in mind: to become a great ninja and defend the Land Below and The Clouds from Ashida. This evil warlord uses Kuji wizardry to transform innocent animals into aggressive but very dumb samurais. This series is the perfect blend of action and comedy, with bold, fallible and lovable characters.

Ashida: An evil samurai warlord who was defeated by a wise ninja master.
Ninja Master: A ninja master who has hidden the secrets of Kuji magic, which gives power over nature. He trained six orphans in the ninja art.
Hiro: The youngest orphan boy, who is trained by the Ninja Master. He has the power to control Kuji magic.
Futo: Another orphan, who lives with Hiro on mountain Tengu. He is clumsy but strong.
Suzume: This orphan is another one of Hiro's friends. He can play the flute.

Tora: The fifth orphan, who's got the abilities of a tiger.
Kunoichi: The last of the six orphans, he has great spear-wielding powers.
