Story

Disney’s “Monsters at Work” is an American CGI animated series, that premiered in July 2021. It is part of the Monsters, Inc. media franchise and is a direct continuation of the 2001 film. Actors Billy Crystal and John Goodman once again lend their voices to the characters Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan.

“Monsters at Work” follows Tylor Tuskmon, a recent graduate of Monsters University, who is excited to start his new job at Monsters, Inc. as a Scarer. However, on his first day, he learns that the company has transitioned to harvesting children’s laughter instead of screams to power the city of Monstropolis and there is no more need for scarers. Tylor is then reassigned to the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT), where he must work alongside a group of misfit mechanics to keep the factory running smoothly.

The main characters of the show include Tylor Tuskmon, Val Little, Cutter, Duncan P. Anderson, Fritz, and a few others. They all have unique personalities and quirks that add to the humor and heart of the show. The show also features some of the beloved characters from the original “Monsters, Inc.” film, such as Mike and Sulley, who now hold leadership positions at the company.

The animation style is similar to the original movie, and the series has a lighthearted, family-friendly tone. The episodes are around 20 minutes long and are filled with humor, heart, and valuable life lessons.
