Story

Qumi-Qumi is an abstract and colorful animated series about three friends from different tribes in the Qumi world. There’s Yusi from the Yumi-Qumi, who are very much into technology, the Juga from the Jumi-Qumi, who resemble traditional African tribes and Shumadan from the Schumi-Qumi, modeled on Soviet Russian people. The three get along really well, even though they come from a different background. They permanently find themselves in trouble and need to find a solution. The Qumi speak a simple language that is based on Toki Pona, a minimalistic language created by a Canadian linguist, English and Russian.
