Who are the main characters of Raymond?

Always kind, often shy, willingly grumpy, his hyper-sensitivity to injustice hides a big heart and an immense need to be loved.
Yvon: Raymond's best friend. He's a coward and allergic to almost everything, which prevents him from following Raymond and Marcello on some of their adventures. Has played sports once in his life, and didn't like it.
Marcello: Raymond's best friend. Instinctive, optimistic and resourceful, he often finds solutions to Raymond's problems. His joie de vivre is rarely affected by anything.
Louise: funny, full of life, best pupil in class, this pretty 8-year-old brunette plays a very special role in Raymond's life. She's sweet but not short of character, especially when it comes to making herself heard. Raymond is far from insensitive to her charm.
Valérian: Raymond's intimate enemy. Hypocritical, a liar, handsome, blond, athletic. He's got what it takes to succeed, and he's not shy about letting people know it. To him, Raymond is nothing more than a runt of the litter. He's usually followed by his court, made up of Flavien, Bertille and Médéric.
M. Lamotte: Class teacher. Not really mean, but a bit gruff and not really a good listener. Very interested in nature and ecology. He has written a thesis on oysters and collects whelks.
