Story

The German animated series “Simsala Grimm” is based on the famous classical fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and is set in the magical land of Simsala. In each episode, one of the well-known fairy tales is told, and the local characters, Doc Croc and Yoyo, move between the story-teller and the episode cast, often helping or inspiring them. The show consists of two seasons with a total of 52 episodes. The series follows the adventures of Yoyo, a coyote, and Doc Croc, who are two toys abandoned in an attic and are transported to the land of fairy tales through a magical book. Despite their differences, Yoyo and Doc Croc are best friends. They always join forces, so that the story reaches its happy ending.
