Story
In a city called Calatonia, theater owner Buster Moon hosts a singing competition to save his struggling theatre. When creating the flyers, Buster’s assistant mistakingly applies two extra zeroes to the prize money, which of course attracts a huge crowd of contestants. The prize chest is being held in an enormous water tank, which ruptures at some point, thus destroying the theatre. In the end, the singing contest is held on the rubble of the theatre, and Meena’s version of “Hallelujah” is even broadcast on the news. The show is a huge success and impresses Nana so, that she buys the lot and the theatre to rebuild and reopen it. The film includes over 60 songs and includes the original song “Faith” by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande.
