Story
“Solar Opposites” centers around a family of aliens from Planet Shlorp who crash-land on Earth after their home planet was destroyed by an asteroid. The family consists of Korvo, Terry, Jesse, and Yumyulack, who are divided on whether living on Earth is a good thing.
The series follows their attempts to adapt to human life while maintaining their alien identity. Each character has a distinct role: Korvo is an intelligent scientist who wants to leave Earth, while Terry is more enthusiastic about embracing human culture. Jesse and Yumyulack are their “replicants” who attend high school and have their own unique adventures.

Who are the main characters of Solar Opposites?
Korvo: the intelligent scientist of the group. He's the "straight man" who views Earth as a primitive planet and is less than thrilled about being stranded here. Korvo gets easily frustrated, often taking out his anger on Terry, but ultimately cares deeply about his family. He's prone to petty distractions despite claiming to be mission-focused and is surprisingly similar to Terry beneath his supposed superior intelligence.
Terry: Korvo's partner and husband who enthusiastically embraces human culture. He's more cavalier and relaxed about their situation on Earth, fascinated by human experiences. Terry is supposedly the Pupa specialist, though he admittedly cheated in most of his classes and knows very little about it.
Jesse: Terry's replicant/daughter who wants to fit into human society. She's a ball of energy and excitement, hoping to be a cool kid at school. Jesse is the more compassionate of the two replicants, sometimes remembering to feed the humans Yumyulack has shrunk.
Yumyulack: Korvo's replicant/son who is a self-proclaimed scientist and bounty hunter. He has a unique hobby of shrinking humans and keeping them in a terrarium called "the Wall". While he often appears to hate Jesse, he secretly cares about her opinion and wants her to like him.
The Pupa: an infant-like creature that will eventually evolve to destroy Earth and terraform a new planet for the Shlorpians.
