“Space Nova” is an Australian animated TV series, produced by SLR Productions and co-produced by Giggle Garages.
2162 has been a blast for the space exploring Nova family, especially when they discover the first ever proof that humanity is not alone in the universe. During a routine research mission, the Novas stumble across an abandoned alien spacecraft trapped in a celestial butterfly. Even more incredible, this craft — made entirely out of rock — appears to be fueled by a rainbow substance thatʼs so powerful that the alien craft escapes at speeds beyond anything they’ve ever seen. Although the Novas are unable to capture the alien rock ship or the Star Dust that powers it, they now know for certain that an advanced, intelligent species does exist. One that is able to travel the universe in the blink of an eye. The Novas must follow the trail of clues left behind to find it! And so, the quest begins …

Who are the main characters of Space Nova?
Jet Nova: Jet is the 11-year-old son of the Nova family. Just like the other members of his family, Jet is dedicated scientist. His specialty is astrobiology, because he's interested in nature that exists outside our solar system. He's obsessed about extra-terrestrial life.
Adelaide Nova: she's the 13-year-old daughter of the Nova family. She's adventurous and trains to be a pilot. She's technologically gifted and is always inventing something in the Eureka lab.
Dr. Josie Nova Nova: she's a Doctor in Astrobiology and a well-known ecologist. She loves adventure and adrenaline kicks.
Captain Hugo Nova: he's a Doctor of planetary geology and the captain of the Eureka. He's obsessed with finding alien life and can't wait to unlock more secrets of the galaxy.
G9: he's like a mini super-computer that acts like a family robot with human qualities.
Janali Banks: she works for the Australian Space Association and is Head of the E.M.U. telescope. She's always on the lookout for alien life.
Aubrina Eridani: nicknamed "The Evil Queen of Space", she is the main antagonist of the series. She's very jealous of the Nova's successes, and tries to take their research.
Sol Eridani: the 14-year-old adopted son of Aubrina. He's very spoiled and arrogant, until he finds out he's an alien himself.
Andy Ling: he's the head of the Australian Space Association and a member of the Luna Port Council. He supports the Nova family.
Pickles: a space hamster who can make black holes.
