Squirrel Boy focuses on Rodney, an anthropomorphic squirrel, who is full of crazy ideas and get-rich-quick schemes. His best friend and owner is a young boy called Andy Johnson. Andy and Rodney are arch-enemies with Kyle Finkster and his anthropomorphic parrot, Salty Mike. These two are the neighbourhood bullies who constantly pick on Andy and Rodney. While trying to avoid Kyle and his parrot, the two friends pursue their love interests, Darlene the squirrel and Martha, a nerdy girl from across the street.
