Zoey is a special second grader. She can transform into StarBeam, a superhero with extraordinary powers. StarBeam is super-fast and super-strong. She can fly and build force fields with bubbles. All Zoey needs to do to turn into her alter-ego is use the catchphrase “It’s time to shine!” Together with a handful of people who share Zoey’s secret and who help StarBeam, all problems can be solved and life can be beautiful again.
Who are the main characters of StarBeam?
Zoey/StarBeam: The main heroine.
Henry Blumenshine/Boost: The secondary main character and Zoey’s best friend.
Kipper: The third main character and the only one other than Zoey and Henry to appear in every episode.
Zoey's Mom/WonderBeam: The fifth main character and Zoey's mother as well as Gramps' daughter.
Captain Fishbeard: An overweight pirate who, much like a few species of birds, kleptomaniacally takes whatever shiny objects he sees
Miserable Marla: A blue-skinned girl with freckles and generally drab clothing.
Cosmic Crusher: A large muscular man. Crusher is highly arrogant and believes himself to be the best dancer in all of Somerset
