Story

The Numtums are 10 colorful numbats with numbers on their tummies. The show aims to introduce numbers to very young children in a fun and engaging way. The Numtums live in Gumnut Grove in a desert-like environment and love eating termites in their local café, The Tasty Termite. Each Numtum was named after an Australian town, except for Champer. The first series of The Numtums was designed for toddlers, but later series introduced more complex mathematical concepts.
