Story
Luz Noceda is a teenage girl from mixed Dominican-American descent. Before a trip to summer camp, she accidentally stumbles into the Demon Realm and is sent to the world of the Boiling Isles. This archipelago is formed from the remains of a vast, dead titan. The Demon Realm is inhabited by strange magical beings, witches and extraordinary creatures. Luz quickly dreams of becoming a witch herself by serving as witch Eda Clawthorne’s apprentice, who is also known as The Owl Lady. During her time with Eda and her pet demon housemate King, Luz finds herself a new family. In the second season, Luz tries to return to the human world.
