The Small Giant

“The Small Giant”, or “La Petite Géante” in its original French version, is a charming animated series produced by Alphanim (now Gaumont Animation) and the Chinese studio Jiang Toon Animation.

Emilie is tired of being taken for a little girl. So when her parents ask her to go on a summer holiday on her own, she is overjoyed and sets off with her favourite backpack, a panda with shoulder straps that she calls Kinoubi. But a big surprise awaits her: she arrives in an enchanted valley where stones travel, seaweed makes light, and Kinoubi suddenly starts talking! But above all… Emilie is now 3 metres tall! She will meet Elmer, a boy of the same age as her, but much smaller! All summer long, Emilie will discover this extraordinary world with its stories of Shaman, sacred turtles, bird flowers, giant crabs… Through perilous expeditions, challenges between clans, betrayals and reconciliations, Emilie will experience a “giant” holiday!
