Tupu

Tupu is a semi-wild girl who lives in a big oak tree in Central Park, New York. She doesn’t wear shoes, and only has basic knowledge of the English language. She can speak to all the animals in the park, but her very best friend is the red squirrel Whatzup, a little animal who lives in the same tree as Tupu.

Tupu also has one human friend, a boy called Norton. He is very rich, being the son of the mayor of New York City. Although Norton lives a very privileged lifestyle and is driven around town in his father’s limousine, he becomes very good friends with Tupu, and goes on many adventures with her in the park.

There is only one other human, who knows about the existence of this wild child living in the park: Schubert Shoobz, the caretaker of Central Park. He would love to get his hands on her to prove her existence and become famous. But he can chase her all the wants, the animals of the park will always come to Tupu’s rescue, and he always fails to catch her. In the end, people just end up thinking he made it all up!
