Underdogs United

The Argentinian series “Underdogs United” is based on the 2013 film “Metegol”. Football players Capi, Emma, Beto, Kiko and Gigi form a different kind of football team: they are football players who are played with in an arcade. But when evening falls and the arcade closes for the public, the 5 players break free from the foosball table and go through a magical portal that leads them to Sportsville, a world filled with different sports.
In addition to athletic challenges, the team must also thwart the absurd and destructive efforts of local villain Waldobert Worst, who wants to make everyone in Sportsville as lazy as him.
The series centers around themes of friendship, determination, and overcoming adversity against all odds. It features vibrant animation and humor, while also delivering an uplifting message about pursuing one’s dreams and the power of teamwork.
