“Wolfboy and the Everything Factory” is an English-American animated series that premiered in 2021 on Apple TV+.
It follows the adventures of William Wolfe, a young boy who has trouble fitting in with the other children his age in the human world. He’s very creative and feels misunderstood. He unexpectedly finds himself in a magical world, the Everything Factory, a magical place where all natural things are made by magical creatures called Sprytes. Sunshine, rain, wind, rock, bunnies and plants, everything rolls out of the factory in no time. In the Spryte realm he meets fantastical creatures like Xandra and Sprout, who help him to become a Spryte.
In the Spryte realm, William puts a wolf mask over his eyes and nose and becomes Wolfboy. He is accepted for he his is, finally feels that he belongs and feels very happy with his new found friends. He learns that his vivid imagination and limitless creativity have the power to change the world. Besides that, he discovers that he is destined to play a crucial role in an age-old battle between the forces of creation and those of destruction.
The most important message of the show is that it’s okay to be different. No matter who you are, where you’re from, everybody belongs somewhere. Everybody has a talent that they can develop and it’s those who can imagine and dream, that have the power to change things for the better.
