Story
The series tells the adventures of the characters Zig, a brown hyena, Sharko, a great white shark, Marina, a mermaid and Bernie, a hermit crab. There is an eternal war going on over Marina between Zig and Sharko. The hyena would love to catch and eat Marina, but needs to get past Sharko, who loves Marina and acts as her bodyguard. Zig often uses different accessories and has multiple plans to try and fool Sharko and get to Marina.
Who are the main characters of Zig & Sharko?
Zig: A brown hyena who is one of the main characters of the series. He tries to capture Marina the mermaid to eat her.
Sharko: A great white shark with a heart of gold. He loves Marina the mermaid and would do anything to keep her safe from harm, especially from Zig.
Marina: A beautiful and intelligent mermaid who is Sharko's love interest.
Bernie: A wise and knowledgeable hermit crab who is Zig's best friend since childhood. He helps Zig to try and capture Marina.
Neptune: A vain, muscular merman who competes for Marina's love.
Poseidon: An elderly but muscular merman, who serves as Marina's adopted father.
Cargo plane pilot: He's an amnesiac, who often behaves like a monkey due to his condition.
