Zorro: A masked vigilante who defends the oppressed, he is brave and cunning.
Don Diego de la Vega: Zorro's alter ego, he is a young rich nobleman. He's the most eligible bachelor of Reina de Los Angeles.
Don Alejandro de la Vega: Diego's father, he is the former commander of the Spanish cavalry.
Ines de la Vega: Diego's twin sister, a beautiful and courageous young woman. She runs the hacienda after the death of their mother.
Bernardo Velasquez: He's been Diego's friend since they were young. He's Don Alejandro's adoptive son. He pretends to be deaf and mute, which serves him to find out what enemies try to hide.
Sgt. Garcia: A sergeant of the Spanish guard, he is a bumbling but well-meaning buffoon. He tries to copy Don Diego to attract women.
