il Luster

Founded in 1997 by producers Arnoud Rijken and Michiel Snijders, il Luster produces all sorts of animated content: commissioned productions, short films, TV series and full-length animation films for the cinema. In addition, Snijders and Rijken develop and write animation concepts and scenarios. il Luster focuses on creative development, financing and setting up (international) co-productions. Animation projects are undertaken in cooperation with various partners at home and abroad and – if necessary – realised in ad hoc studios by il Luster’s production team. il Luster has placed the short art films and non-profit productions under the il Luster Films Foundation. The Foundation distributes the short films through all media, winning many international awards.
