Before running his own animation studio, founder of JEP Animation Jürgen Egenof worked as a journalist. Because he was aware that children spend so much time in front of the television, he wanted to contribute to the quality of the programs being shown. Most of JEP Animation’s work is based on outstanding children’s books or is unique in storytelling and design. The studio has won mutliple prizes, like the Prix Jeunesse and the Prix Danube.
