Before the creation of the Netflix subsidiary Netflix Animation, all the original animated content from the company was produced by third parties, such as DreamWorks Animation Television. Taking into account the growing succes of its programs, Netflix decided to develop all its animated projects in-house by creating a dedicated animation studio.
