Helen Goode: Gerald's wife, equally committed to their lifestyle. She often drives the family's efforts to live up to their high moral standards.
Bliss Goode: the teenage daughter of Gerald and Helen, who sometimes struggles with her family's extreme values while navigating typical adolescent challenges.
Ubuntu Goode: the adopted son of the Goode family, originally from South Africa. His character often explores themes of cultural identity and integration.
Che: the family's dog, named after Che Guevara, often involved in humorous situations due to his diet and the family's anthropomorphizing tendencies. He is on a forced vegan diet at home, but secretly eats the neighbour's animals and pets.
Charlie: Helen's father, who represents more traditional, conservative values, often clashing with the Goode family's progressive ideals.
Mo: a lesbian friend of the Goodes, who often serves as a counterpoint to their extreme views.
Trish: Mo's wife, who also frequently interacts with the Goode family and their eccentricities.
